iamhomeschooling.com is a comprehensive homeschool website that provides valuable information and a vast compilation of resources to all homeschooling families, whether considering homeschooling, new to homeschooling, or veteran homeschoolers.

Homeschoolers nationwide will find helpful articles, support groups, umbrella schools, evaluators, curriculum resources, homeschool events and programs, printable planners and forms, organized links to educational websites and free resources, and more. Understanding the need for up-to-date information, and knowing first-hand how hard it is to find, we strive to keep our content current and relevant.

We also offer our own umbrella school for homeschoolers in the State of Florida. We operate as a home-based private school for grades K-12. We require annual attendance reporting in lieu of evaluations. Our school is affiliated with Florida Virtual School, and we can assist high school homeschoolers with dual enrollment at Florida community colleges and universities. Learn More

Below is an alphabetical list of homeschool evaluators throughout Florida.  Choosing an evaluator is a personal decision and we encourage you to shop around and ask other homeschoolers in your area who they recommend. What to Expect at Your Evaluation: I use a laid back, relaxed style that eases the anxiety of both student/s and parent/s. I make the evaluation for the student/s and parent/s feel comfortable in a "fun" nature. I use an approach to find out if the student is "ready" to move on. I evaluate the student's educational progress upon review of the portfolio and discussion with both student/s and parent/s. Parents are strongly recommended to attend the discussion (as long as they do not tell the answers for their child) ;-)

Qualifications & Experience: Prior to my own homeschooling adventure, I was a public school teacher in Dade County. I have been giving evaluations in the state of Florida since 1997, and have homeschooled my four children since 1998.  I am familiar with the various styles of homeschooling, and offer evaluations for students of all ages and grade levels. I am able to relate to the parents as one who has "been there".
What to Expect at Your Evaluation: I will help guide you the parent and ease your concerns. I am available to give advice on high-schooling your homeschooler, keeping high school transcripts, and new homeschooler orientation. Evaluations with me are a relaxed interview with the parent and child. We will go over the required portfolio. I enjoy having the student share his/her work with me. I am always available to provide help if there are any questions or concerns.
