Homeschoolers nationwide will find helpful articles, support groups, umbrella schools, evaluators, curriculum resources, homeschool events and programs, printable planners and forms, organized links to educational websites and free resources, and more. Understanding the need for up-to-date information, and knowing first-hand how hard it is to find, we strive to keep our content current and relevant.

We also offer our own umbrella school for homeschoolers in the State of Florida. We operate as a home-based private school for grades K-12. We require annual attendance reporting in lieu of evaluations. Our school is affiliated with Florida Virtual School, and we can assist high school homeschoolers with dual enrollment at Florida community colleges and universities. Learn More

About Us

Will my child be eligible for courses at FLVS?

Yes!  Iamhomeschooling.com is affiliated with Florida Virtual School.  Please note, however, that there are two different Florida Virtual School programs:  FLVS and FLVS FT (full time).

  1. FLVS is available to homeschoolers registered with their school district and homeschoolers enrolled in private schools (i.e.; our umbrella school) and serves students in grades 6–12.

  2. FLVS FT offers K–12 instruction, however, when your child is enrolled in this program, FLVS FT becomes the school of record—in which case your child would not  enroll in an umbrella school. Students enrolled in FLVS FT must meet all public school requirements for attendance and standardized test participation.  Please visit their website for more information.

Middle and high school students enrolled in our school are eligible for enrollment with FLVS (not FLVS FT).  Students will sign up with FLVS as Private School Students enrolled in iamhomeschooling.com, not Homeschooled Students.  Please contact us for more information prior to setting up an account with FLVS if you are not familiar with the sign up process.
