iamhomeschooling.com is a comprehensive homeschool website that provides valuable information and a vast compilation of resources to all homeschooling families, whether considering homeschooling, new to homeschooling, or veteran homeschoolers.

Homeschoolers nationwide will find helpful articles, support groups, umbrella schools, evaluators, curriculum resources, homeschool events and programs, printable planners and forms, organized links to educational websites and free resources, and more. Understanding the need for up-to-date information, and knowing first-hand how hard it is to find, we strive to keep our content current and relevant.

We also offer our own umbrella school for homeschoolers in the State of Florida. We operate as a home-based private school for grades K-12. We require annual attendance reporting in lieu of evaluations. Our school is affiliated with Florida Virtual School, and we can assist high school homeschoolers with dual enrollment at Florida community colleges and universities. Learn More

About Us

What do I need to enroll?

In order for you to enroll your child(ren) with iamhomeschooling.com, you must provide the following documentation (keep a copy for your records):

  1. Birth Certificate. We only need a photocopy of your child's Certification of Birth.  If your child was born in Florida, you can request a copy from the Florida Department of Health.  If your child was born in a different state, you can find out where to write for vital records at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's website.
  2. School Entry Health Exam. In Florida, it would be DH Form 3040, School Entry Health Exam.  If you recently moved from another state, your child certification of a School-Entry Health Exam may be different.  Any certificate will be accepted as long as the exam has been performed within one year of enrollment and completed by a health care provider licensed to perform physical examinations. Your child shall be exempted from this requirement upon written objection to the school-entry health exam on religious grounds.
  3. Certificate of Immunization. In Florida, it would be DH Form 680, Certification of Immunization or DH Form 681, Religious Exemptions for Immunizations. These forms are available from your County Health Department.  Your child shall be exempted from this requirement upon written request stating that the administration of immunizing agents conflicts with your religious tenets or practices.  If you would like more information on vaccines and immunizations, please visit the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's website.
  4. Enrollment Form. We require one completed Student Enrollment Form per child.  If your browser's privacy settings do not allow you to open the document, right click on the link and select Save Link As. . . to save the file to your computer.
  5. Annual Fee. We charge an annual enrollment fee of $20 per child. We accept checks, money orders, and Paypal.

We recommend (but do not require) you send your documents via Certified Mail or with Delivery Confirmation or Signature Confirmation.  Also, be sure to keep a copy for your records.
