Homeschoolers nationwide will find helpful articles, support groups, umbrella schools, evaluators, curriculum resources, homeschool events and programs, printable planners and forms, organized links to educational websites and free resources, and more. Understanding the need for up-to-date information, and knowing first-hand how hard it is to find, we strive to keep our content current and relevant.

We also offer our own umbrella school for homeschoolers in the State of Florida. We operate as a home-based private school for grades K-12. We require annual attendance reporting in lieu of evaluations. Our school is affiliated with Florida Virtual School, and we can assist high school homeschoolers with dual enrollment at Florida community colleges and universities. Learn More

A Beka Academy

The A Beka Academy offers a variety of homeschool options using the A Beka Book approach to Christian education.  A Beka Book materials have been developed as a result of 50 years of actual classroom experience in Pensacola Christian Academy, one of America’s largest and most respected Christian day schools.  They offer a Fully Accredited College Preparatory Program, a Traditional Parent-Directed option, and Textbooks/Materials for Home Schooling. They establish report cards and keep transcripts. (K5–grade 12)

Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.)

Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) offers a course of study diagnostically individualized to meet a student's specific learning needs and capabilities. Their program incorporate Scripture, Godly character building, and wisdom principles. Ambleside Online

Ambleside Online is a free homeschool curriculum designed to be as close as possible to the curriculum that Charlotte Mason used in her own private and correspondence schools. Their goal is to be true to Charlotte Mason's high literary standards. Ambleside Online uses the highest quality books and costs no more than the cost of texts. The curriculum uses as many free online books as possible, and there is no cost to use this information or join the support group.

Basic Christian Education

Basic Christian Education utilizes the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum which is an individualized, Bible-based curriculum for elementary and secondary levels (K-12). It was developed on the premise that every child is uniquely created by God with distinct abilities and for a definite purpose. They offer a full service plan and an a la carte plan. The full service plan provides parents with the services that they normally receive in a school setting, assistance in placing students at their proper performance level, and transcripts and diplomas for high school students. The a la carte plan is available for parents who prefer doing their own record keeping and want to order individual PACEs or courses.

Calvert School Home School Curriculum

Calvert School provides a complete home school curriculum.  The Calvert program starts with a rich foundation of reading, writing, and arithmetic,  then layers it with history, science, music, geography, and the arts.  All Calvert courses, are packaged with all the textbooks, workbooks, and supplies you need.

Christa McAuliffe Academy

Christa McAuliffe Academy (CMA) is an accredited, online school serving K-12 students throughout the world. CMA implements the Personalized Learning Model, which includes mastery-based learning, flexibile scheduling, and tailoring instruction to individual student learning styles, interests, goals, and other needs.  CMA is a Washington State approved private school and is accredited through the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.

Classical Conversations

Classical Conversations Communities exist to complement your home-centered education and connect you with like-minded families. Each community is facilitated by a trained parent-director, and classes are led by trained parent-tutors who model the classical tools of learning. They offer three curriculum programs to support your home-centered education by providing teaching tools for you, the parent, and quality educational materials for your student. They have guides, books, timeline cards, and multimedia resources and offer three different programs.

Heritage Home School Academy

Heritage Home School Academy offers online and printed curriculums.  They keep transcripts,  award diplomas, and offer monthly payment plans.

Ablaze Academy

Ablaze Academy offers personalized distance learning.   Their program allows students to complete all classes from anywhere there is a computer and at their own pace. Everything is delivered straight to your computer, from lessons to tests to progress reports. There are no books or CDs to purchase. Accredited classes are available in every subject from grade 1 through 12. Courses can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Ablaze Academy is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation, and The Georgia Accrediting Commission.

Alpha Omega Academy

Alpha Omega Academy (AOA) is an accredited distance learning academy that provides Christian courses for students in grades K-12. Enrolled students may choose from four award-winning, Christian curriculums. AOA offers electronic-based curriculum with Switched-On Online® and Switched-On Schoolhouse® (3-12) and print-based curriculum with LIFEPAC® (K-12) and Horizons (K-6). Switched-On Online, Switched-On Schoolhouse, and LIFEPAC provide five core subjects and a wide variety of electives for elementary, middle, and high school students.

American School of Correspondence

The American School is a regionally and nationally accredited high school that offers two accelerated high school diploma programs through accredited distance education - the College Preparatory Course and the General Course. In each program the student is required to complete 18 units of credit. At least 4.5 credits must be completed with the American School to receive our diploma. Students may enroll at any time during the year. The American School neither requires nor gives entrance examinations for admission to its courses.

Cambridge Academy

The Cambridge Academy is a private, accredited online home school program serving PreK-12 home schoolers throughout the world. You can enroll in 1 online course or our full time online education program.

CLASS Homeschools

CLASS consists of thousands of home schools throughout the United States and around the world, with students ranging in age from four to adult. CLASS graduates are being accepted by leading colleges, universities, and military academies. CLASS assembles the curriculum best fitted for your child based on achievement test scores and other academic information, and in accord with CLASS curriculum requirements. Books and materials are chosen from a variety of carefully selected publishers.

Clonlara School Home Based Education Program

Clonlara School operates both a private Campus School in Ann Arbor, Michigan that students attend daily and, as an extension, the Home Based Education Program that serves students who opt for home schooling. Each Clonlara student completes a personalized education.  Their fully-accredited programs provide curriculum services and guidance to reach that end.  Enrollment is for students from Kindergarten through High School graduation.

K12 - International Academy

The K¹² International Academy is a fully accredited, U.S. diploma-granting, online private school. They offer a K-8 program and High School program, delivering an educational experience like no other. This school is different from traditional schools in that classes do not take place in a building. Most students take courses from their own home with support from their teacher via phone and Internet. While courses are delivered virtually, the school provides plenty of opportunities to connect with a vibrant, global school community.
