Look here for publications provided by the Florida Department of Education to help students plan their futures. Includes: The Career Cruiser, a career exploration resource used to promote career development for students, and The Parent Primer, a 20-page booklet providing up-to-date information on changes taking place in education and the workplace along with strategies for parents to use when advising their teens.
2   Link   FCAT Released Tests & Questions
The FCAT Released Tests in reading, mathematics, and science should be used to increase the comfort level of students and parents with the FCAT, enabling students to take the FCAT with confidence. Students, parents, and teachers should use the released tests to better understand the FCAT and the types of reading passages and questions included on the test.

CPALMS is a state wide infrastructure project to build information systems and tools to support the implementation of the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS). Learn about Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and browse resources for math and science.

5   Link   Florida Department of Health
This link takes you to the Parent Information for School Entry - School Health Services Program. This page is intended to help parents find the health requirements related to student enrollment in Florida's schools. The Florida Department of Health provides requirements for school entry examinations, immunizations, and school health programs. Other requirements for school entry can be found through the Florida Department of Education or the local school district.

The Florida Memory web initiative provides access to archival resources housed in the State Library and Archives that illustrate significant moments in the state's history, offers educational resources for students of all ages, and makes available collections for historical research.
7   Link   Florida Parent-Educators Association (FPEA)
The Florida Parent Educators Association (FPEA) exists solely to serve homeschooling families in Florida. The FPEA executes that mission through support for the legal right to homeschool, local school board education and interaction, support group networking, a state convention, local conferences and events, informative communications, and most importantly, by giving individual encouragement, all in accordance with Judeo-Christian principles.

9   Link   Florida Student Scholarship and Grant Programs
The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) State Programs, within the Florida Department of Education, administers a variety of postsecondary educational state-funded grants and scholarships, and provides information to students, parents, and high school and postsecondary professionals.
10   Link   Florida Then and Now
Florida Then and Now consists of over 70 readings, "FCAT-like" questions, teacher notes, reading strategies, and activity sheets for Florida history. The reading passages are written at the upper elementary student's instructional reading level, so they are also appropriate as independent reading passages for secondary students. All of the files are available as PDFs for easy duplication. Your children can also learn about some of Florida's historic places and about famous Floridians.
11   Link   Florida Virtual Campus
The Florida Virtual Campus, in accordance with the Florida Statutes, was established to provide access to online student and library support services and to serve as a statewide resource and clearinghouse for technology-based public postsecondary education distance learning courses and degree programs. FLVC's services include support for distance learners and institutions offering online courses and degrees, online academic advising services to help students identify the requirements of their chosen degree, online access to the library holdings of all Florida public colleges and universities, including electronic resources such as full-text journals, databases, and eBooks, support and training for college and university students and staff using the services of FLVC.
12   Link   Florida's K-12 Statewide Assessment Program
The Bureau of K-12 Assessment is responsible for all aspects of Florida's K-12 statewide student assessment programs, including developing, administering, scoring, and reporting the results for the FCAT/FCAT 2.0 program, as well as assisting with the administration and reporting of several other K-12 student assessment programs. HEF was established in 1991 to raise support and direct lobbying for home education in Florida. HEF exists to safeguard existing legislation and evaluate future legislation.

Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) offers a summary analysis of the homeschooling law in Florida.
