Homeschool Support Groups



Below is an alphabetical list of homeschool support groups throughout Michigan.  If you would like to add your group to our list, you will need to send us your information. To have your group information changed or removed, please contact us.

Copper Country Home Educators

Copper Country Home Educators (CCHE) is a nonprofit educational organization that serves home schooling families in the Copper Country area of the Upper Peninsula. This area includes Houghton, Hancock, Calumet, L'Anse, Crystal Falls, Ontonagon and surrounding communities. CCHE is open to all home schooling families regardless of religion, political affiliation or racial heritage. CCHE provides networking opportunities for area home schooling families primarily through its emailed newsletter. The information on their website, facebook pages, blogs and archives are maintained by CCHE volunteers. Regularly, CCHE hosts Parents' Night Out, curriculum sales and other home schooling events in the local area.


Diverse Homeschool

The Diverse group is an inclusive group. None of the following are important to belong to Diverse: religion, income, family composition, race, or political viewpoints. All are welcome. They have several regular activities, as well as teams and clubs they sponsor and field trips. The group focuses mainly on Genesee County homeschoolers, but also welcomes homeschoolers from the following Michigan counties: Livingston, Saginaw, Tuscola, Shiawasee, Lapeer, Oakland, and Washtenaw.

The Homeschool HUB

The Homeschool HUB is a non-profit educational organization located in Niles, Michigan created to serve the needs of Michian's homeschool community and now aiming to reach out to the national homeschool community.  The Homeschool HUB organizes enrichment programs, volunteer opportunities and field trips, and provides a communication network among homeschool families in the Michiana area. They are an inclusive organization; their goal is to provide opportunities for all homeschoolers to share educational resources and knowledge, and to enjoy each other's company in enriching group activities.

West Michigan Eclectic Homeschoolers

West Michigan Eclectic Homeschoolers is an inclusive, co-operative group welcoming members from all belief paths, lifestyles, philosophical, and political orientations. Members are asked to follow rules of civility, kindness, and compassion. They  are an `In Real Life' support and social group with a message board forum, park days, library days, field trips, holiday parties, and co-operative classes.
